Oversized Arrowhead Jacket — Dinge, Size IT 52 / US 42

Rick Owens's Spring/Summer 2025 men's collection, Hollywood, leaned on tailoring pushed past its natural scale, and the Oversized Arrowhead is his blazer in that register. Owens's long coats, the Brad from the same season among them, narrow the body into a column. The Arrowhead goes the other way: it widens the shoulder, pads it and drops it, so the jacket reads as a block of volume above the hip rather than a line. It comes in Dinge, the house's muted grey, which softens a silhouette that in black would read as armor.

The shell is virgin wool with a fine, dense face that holds the line of the shoulder without stiffening the body. Peaked lapels frame the front, and the shoulders are padded and set low, so the sleeve begins below the natural shoulder point and the chest stays wide. Paneling shapes the torso, welt and seam pockets sit flush to the line, and a single vent opens at the back. Inside, the body and sleeves are lined in cupro and the pockets in cotton, and the jacket closes on buffalo-horn buttons. Made in Italy.

Read it as the power suit pushed through Owens's sense of proportion: the vocabulary of a city blazer, enlarged until the shoulders do the talking. Worn open over a T-shirt it is Owens at his most casual; buttoned over a knit it becomes a uniform. Either way the cut carries the presence, so nothing else in the outfit has to. Size IT 52 / US 42.
