Mastodon Cargos — Dusty Pink, Size IT38

Rick Owens built his name on a severe, monastic palette — which is exactly what makes these Mastodon cargo trousers so unusual. Cut for Spring/Summer 2024 in a dusty, muted pink, they take one of the house's signature utility silhouettes and soften it with a wash of color the all-black canon almost never allows.
The Mastodon is Owens' utilitarian workhorse: a slim, elongated leg built in cotton, with a drawstring waist and cargo pocketing running down the legs to elasticated cuffs. The line is long and lean, the detailing purpose-built rather than decorative. New with tags.
Owens in color is rare, and Owens in pink rarer still. The dusty tone reads as restraint rather than novelty — a quiet way to wear one of the most recognizable cuts in the wardrobe without defaulting to black.
