Rick Owens' Gimp Hoodie is one of the most recognizable silhouettes in his canon — the hooded mask panel that zips clean over the face, industrial hardware, and sculptural volume. This is the DNA Dust colorway from the Fall/Winter 2025 collection: a heathered, muted grey rendered in a soft alpaca-blend knit.
The cut runs long with dropped shoulders and a full front zip that travels up and over the hood to close across the face — the detail that made the Gimp an instant signature. Wear it zipped for the full sculptural effect, or open and pushed back for volume without the mask.
An alpaca-blend knit gives the piece weight and a quiet halo of texture, softening the industrial hardware into something closer to armor than outerwear.
