Rhuigi Villaseñor founded Rhude in Los Angeles in 2015 to set luxury technique against streetwear, and the bandana print has been one of the house's recurring devices, worked across track shorts, knit shorts and swim. These boxing shorts take that paisley and move it onto different architecture. Instead of a drawstring track short, the proportions come from the ring: a high elastic waist, a wide leg and contrasting white side panels that borrow the trim logic of vintage boxing trunks. The body is a smooth, lightweight satin printed in blue and white paisley, with enough sheen to flash at the fold and enough fluidity to swing away from the leg as you walk.
