Safari Sunglasses — Havana/Green, Gold Temples

Loewe's eyewear program under Jonathan Anderson has followed the same instinct as the house's ready-to-wear and leather goods — take a familiar shape, strip it down to its structural minimum, and let what's left stand in for design. The Safari, from the house's Spring/Summer 2026 eyewear collection, applies that logic to the aviator: no surrounding rim at all, so the lens supplies its own edge, with all the structure carried by an acetate bridge and a pair of thin metal temples.

Havana acetate forms the bridge and nose pads, cut in a warm tortoise-adjacent finish, with dark green lenses set edge-first rather than traced in metal. Thin gold-tone metal temples run back to the ear, engraved with LOEWE lettering along their length. Universal fit, with 100% UVA/UVB-rated lenses. Reference G737LIGX04-3605.

It reads less like a conventional sunglasses frame and more like two lenses held in place by the minimum architecture the design will allow — the acetate doing structural work a full rim would usually handle, the temples doing the rest. One size, universal fit.
