Roadie Lace-Up Boot — Brown Nubuck & Suede, EU 44 / US 11
Private Clients receive first access to new acquisitions in your size and favorite houses.
This boot opened Jonathan Anderson's first runway show for Dior — a vintage moccasin silhouette set on an innovative tubular sole, built without internal reinforcement for a flexibility the construction has no business having. It's the piece that marked where the house's menswear language changed hands.
Brown nubuck forms the body, with brown and beige calfskin suede detailing and lambskin lining throughout. Dior's signature runs embroidered at the side and embossed into the tongue and heel — restrained placement for a house that usually announces itself louder. A high shaft with a padded collar carries cotton laces finished in suede tips, held by a leather lace loop, down to a two-piece beige rubber sole engraved with the Cannage motif under a CD applique. Made in Italy, arriving new with tags and never worn, with the original dust bag and a spare set of laces.
It hasn't surfaced on the US secondary market — not yet a rarity by design, just by timing, which is its own kind of argument for owning it now rather than later.
