Dior's Lady 95.22 collection took the codes of the house's most famous handbag and translated them into eyewear. The Lady Dior's Cannage quilting — drawn from the Napoleon III chairs Christian Dior used at his first show — moves from leather onto the temples, turning a pair of sunglasses into a piece of house heritage worn on the face.

This is the R1I in black: a soft oval frame in black acetate with gold-tone accents at the hinges and grey tinted lenses offering full UVA/UVB protection. The Cannage motif runs along the temples as the collection's signature detail, raised enough to read as texture rather than print. From the F/W 2022 collection. Made in Italy.
