Reversible Quilted Puffer Blouson — Azalea, Size IT 48 / US 38

Fendi's Fall/Winter 2021 menswear belonged to Silvia Venturini Fendi — the season she returned to designing the men's line as Kim Jones took over womenswear, built around the question of what "normal" looks like now. Her answer was a wardrobe of familiar staples, let out into roomier proportions and sharpened with contrast piping and seaming rather than logos. This blouson is that idea at its most vivid: a down puffer disciplined into the shape of a shirt jacket, then rendered in a colour most menswear would never go near.

Azalea-pink satin outer carrying a tonal FF jacquard across the entire surface, quilted in a chevron pattern and filled with down. Black contrast piping outlines the collar, both cuffs and the edges of all three front welt pockets. A spread collar sits over a concealed button placket, so the front closes into one clean, uninterrupted plane with no visible hardware. Fully reversible: turned inside out it becomes a dark khaki jacket, trading the satin's sheen for something much closer to military issue. Made in Italy.

It reads as a hybrid of quilted puffer and tailored shirt jacket, with the piping doing tailoring's work — drawing the edges the way a lapel does on a blazer, so the volume never reads as shapeless. The pink is the provocation; the khaki reverse is the insurance policy, and having both in one garment is exactly the kind of quiet subversion that season was about. Size IT 48 / US 38.
